Mango Dunes captures the simple things in life like having a mango (aka ‘beer”) on top of the Dunes on a Winters afternoon. The sunset throws soft oranges under a pink candy sky as the wind blows soft and cool.
For me this painting is personal, it was one of my favourite spots from travelling up the Western Australia Coast. There was no-one else around, we were hundreds of kilometres away from civilisation. The kids were running up and down the beach and we had just come in from snorkelling off the reef where there were dozens of reef sharks swimming around us with not a worry in the world.
